We are so excited to be sharing our very first night in Jovanna with you.
Dee had been working all day and we couldn’t get going until 7pm so for our first night we opted to just drive for an hour in the direction of North Devon, our destination.
We used an app called ‘Park for the Night’ and found a nice ‘quiet’ spot in Havent which is near Portsmouth. The app gives info about places to park and also includes reviews from other people. We knew it would be quiet as we were going to be staying in a quiet lane next to a graveyard!
Our first ever meal cooked and eaten in Jovanna! Stir fry prawns, noodles and veg and of course washed down with a nice glass of white.
After a good night’s sleep we were thrilled to wake up in ‘Our Dream’ . It was a beautiful morning, cold but very sunny, it was after all still early in April! The info in the ‘Park for the night’ app said it was a short walk through a field to get to the beach. As an avid cold water swimmer I couldn’t wait to get down there and get swimming!
