Treginnis Pembrokeshire, near St Davids

We decided to head further round the coast a bit further to a place called Treginnis to a campsite that was recommended by ‘The Barking Nomads’ who I got chatting to on instagram.

It was a great place. We ended up staying for 6 nights as the weather kept getting hotter and as we felt it was best not to move! Temperatures rose right up to around 34 degrees!!! There was always a sea breeze though which was another good reason not to move!

It was a basic campsite, just a field, no tents, only caravans and motorhomes as facilities available were just for filling water and emptying waste.

We were quite high up, the views and the sunsets were excellent. It’s was also a 10 minute walk through fields with sheep to get top a fairly secluded cove with a lovely beach, perfect for swimming. I did get quite lost the first time I tried to find the beach 🤣 and being a ’Towny’ I didn’t realise that it is acceptable to walk through fields with sheep!!!!

Walking with sheep! The things we do for a swim!

The Head!

Dee calls the above photo and others like it ’The Head!’ as when someone is swimming you can only ever see their head! That photo is me swimming in the cove near where we were staying .
