Although I had swum most days since being on the road so far it had always been solo.
Solo swims are great but it’s also nice to have company and I so missed my salty crew back in Hove
I managed to hook up with some of ‘The Blue Tits Chill Swimmers’
The Blue Tits are a well known group within the swimming community and have 30,000 members worldwide in many different places . It actually all began in Pembrokeshire on Pencarnan Beach which can be seen from Whitesands and I believe where there head quarters still is today. I did have a swim at Pencarnan beach but it was a solo one.
The photos above are of Whitesands bay and of me with some of The Blue Tits . It was really good to have some mermates to swim with again
