From Padarn Country Park we decided to follow the cycle route and see where it took us . It starts just after the toilet block. We had no idea where it would take us.
The cycle path didn’t actually last that long and soon we were on the road.
We ended up cycling to Caernarfon which I believe is the nearest town.
There is a castle there and we also stumbled across the smallest bar in Wales and decided it would be rude not to stop and have a drink 🤣
It was about six or seven miles to Caernarfon and of course we had to cycle back again too 🤣
We stopped a fair bit on the ride home and took some photos along the way
We took a chance on the weather when we cycled to Caernarfon. We were lucky really, though as we did get caught in a downpour going, which could have been a lot worse! Thankfully that was it! And we arrived dry and safe back at The Lake.
