The Wedding-Rockland And Gabrielle

We were always heading back to Brighton to attend the wedding of Rockland and Gabrielle on 4th Aug 2022.

It was a small wedding and a privilege to have been invited. I was very good friends with Gabby’s ‘Mam’ Francesca who sadly passed away almost 4 years ago. It was just parents, siblings, 2 of their friends and us. It was a beautiful wedding.

It also turned out to be the day we were able to collect ‘Jovanna’ from the ‘Motorhome Hospital’ and the day we had to take the hire car back!

I also went to get mani and pedi done after being let down the previous day. Then we had to move everything off the boat. And have showers!

It was a manic day trying to get everything done. Then suddenly there was no time left!

It was 2.30pm and registry office was at 3pm. We still needed to find a place to park Jovanna 😯 . I went ahead. Dee sadly missed the ceremony but I was so glad I made it there.

Here are just a few photo’s from the registry office

Walking down the aisle
Vows
And being told off!

We then all walked down to Brighton pier, although Gabby and Rock went in the wedding car!

On way to the pier

At the pier there was the traditional Jewish ceremony of breaking the glass which always takes place at weddings . It commemorates the falling of Jerusalem and the destruction of two temples . It is tradition that the groom will stamp on the glass usually wrapped in a napkin and then the guests all shout “Mazel tov” (Congratulations) .

This photo was I think just before the glass was smashed.

From the pier we then walked to “Browns” for the wedding reception.

We had a lovely meal. Here are some more photo’s

Us from van to wedding 🤣

The Pornstar Martini!

Well, a fab day was had by all but especially the newly weds, Mr and Mrs Larsen. Congratulations to you both and your new life together.

  1. Thank you for sharing your friends wedding, it looks like everyone had a great time. I was surprised when you said it was a Jewish wedding, with all that green I thought they were Irish. 🤗
